“WTM is the must must-exhibit travel show in the United Kingdom, a show that brings together the global travel trade under one roof to discuss business, innovations and trends in the travel industry,” said the ZTA.

Profiling the event, the ZTA also indicated that nearly 5 000 exhibitors participate at the WTM which is attended by over 51 500 visitors. The ZTA also highlighted that 3 000 members of the global media attended attend the event.

“3 000 members of the international media attend each year to report on the latest stories and keep up to date with the (travel and tourism) industry,” the ZTA indicated.

“Participation of US $2000 will be paid by each operator (who) will meet (their) own travel expenses and upkeep in London, the United Kingdom,” the tourism promotion board said in the statement. The participation package covers a desk with three chairs, a staff badge per desk, signage with space for brand customisation, storage space for brochures and small luggage items, power for laptop computers and promotional video looping on a screen.
