ZAS to elect new council

The Zimbabwe Agricultural Society (ZAS), the organiser of the Zimbabwe Agricultural Show (formerly Harare Agricultural Show), is set to elect a new council to lead the agricultural body for the next two years.

This was announced by ZAS Chief Executive Officer, Dr Anxious Masuka in an annual general meeting notice this week.

Among the agenda items of the meeting, which is scheduled for 25 January at the ZAS’ Business Hub offices in Harare, is the election of office bearers and council members.

The positions which will be subject of election during the meeting are patron of the society, a president, up to two deputy presidents, life vice presidents, an honorary treasurer and council members.

President Emmerson Mnangagwa is the incumbent ZAS patron while BDO Zimbabwe Managing Partner, Ngoni Kudenga is the society’s President.
