TofaraOnline lines up a Digital Marketing and Innovation Summit

TofaraOnline Digital Marketing and Innovation Consulting Trust is set to hold the 2020 edition of its annual Digital Marketing and Innovation Summit on 28 March 2020 at the TelOne Learning Centre in Harare. This was disclosed by TofaraOnline Managing Director, Tofara Chokera (pictured) to Business Events last week.

“Our main aim is to empower women and young people in business to embrace digital marketing and innovative solutions to grow their businesses globally and adopt innovative solutions that assist individuals, groups and organizations globally to build their brands,” Chokera said.

The TofaraOnline boss, who is an IT engineer by profession, highlighted how her organised used global synergies for the benefit of its clients and other stakeholders.

“We build deliberate relationships and partnerships with organizations globally that will help us facilitate change and provide solutions to various areas, challenges and problems of business growth,” said.

“Every year we host the Digital Marketing and Innovation Summit. This is a new way of thinking that will prepare delegates for a radically different future in 2020. Running under the theme:    ‘Building disruptive digital marketing strategies and innovative business solutions,’ the event will see digital marketing and innovation experts helping attendees to walk away with all the practical skills they need to drive digital transformation of their organisations and grow their businesses beyond the borders of Africa,” Chokera gave out .

Turning to the highlights of the event, Chokera indicated that through interactive talks, deep-dive panel talks, future-gazing discussions, and the most candid interviews, some of the biggest names in the industry would talk about the various digital innovation approaches that have proved successful in a new age during the Digital Marketing and Innovation Summit.

“As we go digital we will find opportunities for export. We need to learn about Export readiness. That is why we invited the national trade promotion body, ZimTrade to talk about their services and the opportunities that are available beyond Zimbabwe for those who wish to export their products.

“A TelOne Centre for Learning representative will address the summit on innovation and the importance of being unique in one’s business sector,” said.

Chokera disclosed some of the main speakers at the event as Engineer Kevin Ngalonde, Nikolina Kobali, Vakoma Business World Chief Executive Officer, Odiline Kava, Loveness Nleya and Fortunate Farirai.

Asked about the type and profile of the visitor that her company was expecting to attend the event Chokera indicated that the typical attendee to the event would come from various business backgrounds.

“We are inviting marketers from companies, SMEs, women-owned businesses (and) young entrepreneurs to come and learn about introducing technology-based innovative ideas in their businesses so that they would be competitive on the global market,” she said.

Regarding the progress made so far in the preparations for the event, Chokera said that preparations were at an advanced stage with a number of sponsors having already come on board to partner TofaraOnline.
