The CEO Africa Round Table has postponed the seventh edition of its annual Round Table which was set to be held at the Elephant Hills resort in Victoria Falls from 18 to 20 March 2020, citing the ongoing COVID-19 challenges.

“In light of the circumstances around the COVID-19 coronavirus, the CEO Africa Round Table 2020 which was scheduled for 18 to 20 March 2020 in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe has been postponed to a later date which will be announced shortly,” said CEO Africa Round Table Chief Executive Officer, Kipson Gundani in a statement yesterday.

Although Zimbabwe does not have a confirmed COVID-19 case yet, business event organisers are taking precautions to ensure that their events do not promote the spread of the virus. Last week the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) Company announced that its event, the ZITF, which is set for 21 to 25 April 2020 would go ahead as planned but it would not allow exhibitors from countries which are affected by the virus to participate in the fair.
