The regional destination marketing and sales platform, Africa’s Eden is set to hold a Business for Tourism Symposium in Victoria Falls from 14 to 16 June. The platform announced this on its website recently.

“The Business for Tourism Expo will take place over a period of two days inclusive of matched meetings, coupled with experience-based discussions and networking events. The event will be set up as an exhibition, with suppliers being allocated space to showcase their products, promote their brands and hold one-on-one meetings with tourism businesses, especially within the four-country (Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe) Kaza (Kavango-Zambezi) region,” Africa’s Eden said.

According to the platform, every supplier and buyer will have their own appointment schedule which will allow participants to schedule meetings in advance. Every exhibition space will be allocated a QR-driven lead capture (system), recording all visitors to the space. Africa’s Eden indicated that during the event, exhibitors can block off times in their schedule for special branded events and invite specific buyers to attend.

The organisers of the event will allow exhibitors to choose to showcase their products in ways that suit their brands through the provision of product demonstration space.

The event is set to have industry-specific sessions that will facilitate discussions specifically pertaining to the supply chain, the tourism industry, cross-border logistics and the business environment.

Africa’s Eden is a regional destination marketing and sales platform which brings together the private sector in Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe. The platforms has over 400 tourism products across the four countries.
