The 2024 edition of the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) will focus on the catalytic role of entrepreneurship in driving industrialisation and trade. This was revealed by the organisers of the international event, the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair Company last week in posts on the entity’s social media handles.

The event, which has been pencilled for 23 to 27 April, is expected to run under the theme: “Entrepreneurship: The catalyst for industrialisation and trade.”

The first three days of the event (23 to 25 April) will be business days while 26 and 27 April will be public days.

“ZITF2024 offers opportunities for entrepreneurs to innovate, create jobs, and promote sustainable development. It recognises the vital role entrepreneurs play in driving economic growth, fostering innovation, and advancing industrialisation and trade,” the company posted.

The company explained that, with the entrepreneur at the centre, the trade fair will facilitate economic players – both local and foreign – to exhibit their wares, meet and network.

“The premier exhibition will showcase various industries and sectors that exemplify the entrepreneurial spirit. From manufacturing and technology to agriculture and value-added services, ZITF2024 will provide a platform for local and international delegates and exhibitors to connect, collaborate, and explore new business opportunities,” the company said.
