The second edition of the building and construction industry show, the BuildExpo is set to be held from 31 July to 2 August this year at the Borrowdale Racecourse in Harare. This was announced by the organisers, Buildex Zimbabwe in a statement.
“We are proud to announce the opening of registration for BuildExpo 2020. This is the second edition of the Expo after last year`s successful launch. BuildExpo 2020 will be held at Borrowdale Racecourse from the 31st of July to the 2nd of August,” read part of the statement.
Spelling out the exhibition’s objectives, Buildex Zimbabwe indicated that at the centre of the show was the need to influence local consumer trends in order to boost sales while at the same time demonstrating the latest products and services available locally.
“The 2020 BuildExpo Zimbabwe is designed to improve brand exposure for all industry brands represented by allowing all exhibitors to have a more interactive engagement with their consumers. The Expo also provides a unique opportunity for exhibitors to get first-hand feedback on their products and services from our local market at the same time providing a great platform for industry networking and exchange of ideas,” the company explained.
“This Expo provides an opportunity (for consumers) to experience, appreciate, compare and buy into the products and services offered at the show. It also allows the consumer the convenience of exploring options for all their construction requirements in one location,” it said.
Unlike last year’s edition, the impending show is set to have a number of highlights.
“We have some exciting additions to this year`s Expo which include sponsorship Packages which are meant for clients that would like to leverage the Expo to drive their market positions by taking more aggressive ownership of the Expo and drive aggressive market and Expo visibility,” said the company.
The Expo is set to see the introduction of Official Partner Packages for the various sectors of the Building and Construction industry. Partner packages will present opportunities for exhibitors to take category leadership in the sector of their business interest.
As BuildExpo managing director, Panashe Maisva indicated during the official opening of the event last year, the company will this year adopt the deliberate strategy of inviting high-quality visitors using communication platforms that appeal to exhibitors’ target clients
“In addition, we have on offer budget exhibition stalls for our SME type exhibitors. We have significantly increased the number of exhibitor segments to ensure that the Expo represents the full scope and nature of the building and construction industry,” the company highlighted.
