Finding a serene, beautiful spot for business events a stone’s throw from the Harare CBD that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg is a struggle. The owner of Platinum Events Group and his team spotted a market gap and were quick to jump in with a solution. Stephanos, a place where you experience “good living,” was born on 10 November 2022 in the beautiful suburb of Newlands in Harare.
Stephanos is that place that is cosy, fine, peaceful, and inspiring. The location is just perfect—it’s in Newlands, close to the CBD but away from the CBD’s madness. When you arrive at Stephanos, you don’t get that “Wow” reaction, but you just smile and feel at home. It’s calming; it’s not shouting. The gold and black theme of Stephanos is breathtaking. The lighting, the seats, the tables—everything is just marvellous. It’s a space that you would definitely want to be in. During the launch, the Director, who is also the Chief Executive Officer and founder of a giant in the catering and events industry, Platinum Events Group, introduced his teenage son, as the CEO and brains behind the launch of such a spectacular space, Stephanos.
Tourism Business Council of Zimbabwe (TBCZ) chairperson, Wengayi Nhau officiated at the launch of the venue which was graced by stakeholders, employees, family, and friends.
