Notwithstanding the ongoing devastating COVID-19 pandemic which has brought most economic activities, including business and social events, to a standstill, local event infrastructure specialists, Rooney’s Hire Service Zimbabwe is using the business hiatus to prepare for the post-coronavirus period. This includes upgrading its equipment to enable the company to meet the demands of a growing events industry.
“We get so excited when containers arrive like this one from Germany. Our new 50m P1 Losberger (tent) structure has arrived. (We are) so proud to be one of the few (hire businesses) to stock a structure of this size in Africa. We are now able to cover 4000m2 under one roof,” the company told its stakeholders on its Facebook page this week.
According to the Losberger website, its modular tent construction system offer …unlimited possibilities for users. With spans from 10 to 50 metres, it is the most variable among the large tent systems.
Rooney’s hires out event infrastructure such as tents, furniture and cutlery among many other lines. The company, which has been in business since 1955, is the market leader in its sector.
Rooney’s Hire Service is also the official agent for the German company, Losberger in Zimbabwe.
