CSR Zimbabwe invites Responsible Business Awards nominees, entries

CSR Network Zimbabwe is calling for entries and nominations for this year’s Responsible Business and Environmental Stewardship Awards. The event, which celebrates and rewards leadership in sustainable business, is set to be held in Victoria Falls on 26 November 2021.

The awards event is held in conjunction with the Environmental Management Agency (EMA). According to a statement issued by CSR Network Zimbabwe this week, shortlisted nominees will be announced on 14 October 2021.

“The CSRNZ Responsible Business Awards are widely renowned as the leading platform for businesses to demonstrate leadership and showcase their vision in making business truly sustainable. They offer more than just the chance to be considered for an accolade, but to also take a leadership position among the key players around Zimbabwe and the globe,” read part of the statement.

The main categories of the event include the Environmental Stewardship Award, the Business Transformation Award, the Sustainability Innovation Award, the SDG Impact Award, the Social Impact Award, the Partnership of The Year Award and the Honouree Award.

The other award categories are Top Covid Fight Supporting organisation of the year Award, Business Leader Category, Excellence Award Category, CSR projects in National Priority Areas, CSR projects in Aspirational Districts/difficult terrains, Responsible Supply Chain Category, Clean Energy Transition Category, Reporting & Transparency Category, Purpose–Driven Communications and CSR Manager of the year.
