MAZ Exceptional Marketing Awards nominations begin

The Marketers Association of Zimbabwe (MAZ) is set to open to marketers and members of the public the nomination for the selection of this year’s edition of the Exceptional Marketing Awards (EMA) next week. This was announced by the marketers’ professional body in a statement this week.

“The 2019 edition of EMA is up and running. EMA recognizes organisations and people who have successfully initiated marketing efforts to build a reputable brand.

The overarching goal of the project is to honour organisations and people who have exhibited exceptional marketing prowess and at the same time showing professionalism at the highest level. The EMA nominations will run from 02 September to 20 September 2019,” said MAZ.

“EMA celebrates excellence and innovation across the marketing process within the business spectrum. (The) awards recognise organisations and people who have pushed their brands towards measuring success through effective running of their marketing plans,” read part of the statement.

The annual EMA award winners are announced during MAZ’s Annual Marketers Convention whose 2019 edition is pencilled for 30 October to 2 November this year in Bulawayo.

MAZ explained that nomination process of the event which the marketing body is partnering Topline Research Solutions.

“During the nomination survey, the top five most nominated companies or individuals shall be picked. After the survey, the adjudication team will meet and invite the top five nominations (in 15 categories) to present and defend their nominations.

After the presentations the adjudication team will select the winners and these will be announced at the Annual Marketers Convention,” MAZ highlighted.

The award event’s various categories run from best TV advert of the year, Best outdoor advert of the year to the marketing-oriented CEO/Managing Director of the year.
